How long does full-stack development take?
It depends on scope, but we release to a preview environment every week, so you see working software early. The number of features and user roles, integrations and how settled the requirements are all move the timeline. On the scoping call we will tell you which timeline your project fits.
How much do full-stack development services cost?
Focused engagements, such as a single feature or a codebase audit, start at $1,500. Product builds and ongoing engineering are scoped separately after a short call, and the price is fixed for the agreed scope. What moves it: the number of features and user roles, integrations, data migration, security and compliance needs, and whether you need design as well as engineering. We contract in USD.
What tech stack do you work in?
We work in your stack where one exists. For new products we usually build with Next.js, React and TypeScript on Vercel, and choose the database and backend with your engineers based on what your team can run after we step back.
Can you work in our existing codebase?
Yes, and we often do. We start by reading the code and running it locally, follow your conventions and branching rules, and open pull requests your engineers review. Nothing merges that your team has not seen.
Do you design the product as well?
Yes. Designers and engineers are in the same in-house team, so flows, UI and the data model are decided together. If you already have designs or a design system, we build from them.
How do you use AI in development?
AI drafts well-specified changes, tests and migrations, and helps us read unfamiliar code faster. Security still needs scrutiny: Veracode’s Spring 2026 testing of more than 100 models found 45% of AI-generated code introduced an OWASP Top 10 flaw. So senior engineers make the architecture calls, review every change before it merges, and security checks run in CI. AI removes busywork, not judgment.
Who owns the code?
You do. The code lives in your GitHub from the first commit and runs in your own CI, and IP is assigned to you. We document as we go, so your team can run it after the engagement ends.
You use AI. Does the work get cheaper?
Not automatically, and we price on scope. Stanford research cited in DORA’s 2026 ROI report puts the gain at 35 to 40% on simple greenfield tasks and 10% or less on complex legacy code, and review often becomes the bottleneck. The tests, security checks and senior review that make AI output safe to merge are part of every project.
