AI and Tech Conferences 2026 USA: Which Are Worth It

The last quarter of the year is crowded with US business and tech events that matter to B2B SaaS and AI companies. This guide covers the ones left in 2026: when and where they are, who is in the room, what a pass costs, and whether a founder, CMO, Head of Product or Head of Design should spend the time.

We checked every date, venue, audience figure and price below on the organizer’s own website on September 21, 2026. Prices change often and many rise on a set date, so confirm on the official page before you book.

The team is not attending these events this year. We are planning to be at some of them next year, and this is the list we built to decide which.

How we picked and checked these events

Everything here is in person, in the US, and between late September and the end of December 2026. We read dates, venues, audience figures and ticket prices on each organizer’s own site, not on event listing sites. Several listing sites still showed old figures, old venues or events that have already happened.

“Worth it” here means three things: how many people in the room could buy from you, whether vendors get in on the same terms as buyers, and what the trip costs in money and senior time.

Audience figures are the organizers’ own numbers. Where an organizer does not publish one, we leave it out rather than guess.

Which events fit your role?

  • Founder or CEO: TechCrunch Disrupt, the Cerebral Valley AI Summit (by application) and Tech Week events in San Francisco and Los Angeles, for investors, partners and hiring.

  • CMO: the event in your market where your buyers are, plus MarketingProfs B2B Forum or Content Marketing World for your team.

  • Head of Product: the platform events where your stack changes (the OpenAI DevDay livestream, GitHub Universe, Microsoft Ignite, AWS re:Invent), and Mind the Product, ProductCon or UXDX for peers.

  • Head of Design: Adobe MAX and UXDX San Francisco, plus a day at the event your customers attend, to hear how buyers describe their problems.

How much do US tech conferences cost?

Published attendee prices on this list run from free (DC Fintech Week, the Databricks Data + AI World Tour stops and the ElasticON Tour days) to $8,200 (Gartner IT Symposium/Xpo). Vendor access can cost more.

At these buyer-heavy events, a vendor pass costs roughly two to four times what a buyer pays.

Many buyer-heavy events charge vendors more than buyers:

  • HLTH USA: $3,495 for solution providers, $1,500 for clinicians and eligible startups.

  • HR Tech: $3,400 for vendors at the advance rate, $1,695 for HR practitioners.

  • HIMSS AI in Healthcare Forum: $4,295 for non-member suppliers, $995 for non-member providers.

  • Becker’s CEO + CFO Roundtable (November 2 to 5, Chicago): $10,000 for vendor access, $2,500 for hospital and health system staff.

Several offer cheaper passes for startups or founders: Money20/20 ($1,545 early stage), HLTH ($1,500), The AI Summit New York ($799), Cerebral Valley ($199 for founders) and TechCrunch Disrupt (a Founder pass was $899 through September 25).

Some events limit vendors. The MAG Payments Conference (September 27 to 30, Nashville) is closed to the public. AHIP’s fall events are for member health plans. Forrester approves vendor attendance case by case, and the CFO Leadership Conference admits vendors only as sponsors.

The ticket is often not the biggest cost. Flights, a hotel near the venue and two to four days of senior time add up, so price the whole trip before you compare passes.

Should you attend, exhibit or just book meetings?

A simple rule by stage:

  • Before Series A: attend a small number of events where your buyers are, and book meetings before you go. A booth rarely pays off at this stage unless the room is full of your buyers.

  • Series A to B: attend with a meeting plan, and add a side event such as a dinner where your buyers are concentrated.

  • Series B to C: consider exhibiting at the one or two events with the most buyers for your market.

Check what each pass includes. AWS re:Invent has no day or expo-only passes. The AI Summit New York sells an expo pass from $99, Microsoft Ignite a hub-only pass, and NVIDIA GTC D.C. an exhibit hall pass.

What should you have ready before you go?

People you meet will look you up the same day. Your site, demo and deck carry the second conversation.

  1. Book meetings two to four weeks ahead. Several large events run meeting programs, such as Money20/20 SmartMeet and HLTH Market Connect.

  2. Make sure your landing page says what you say at the event: the same product name, the same one-line description, the same proof.

  3. Have a demo that works without venue Wi-Fi and on a phone.

  4. Bring a short deck and a one-page leave-behind.

  5. Agree on one sentence that describes the product, and have everyone on the team use it.

  6. Send follow-ups within 48 hours.

We wrote more about this in Fintech Event Season Is a Design Deadline. If your site or demo needs work before you fly, see how we approach B2B website design.

Which 2026 events have already happened?

If you were planning around these, they are over: Webflow Conf (September 1 to 3, Boston), FinovateFall (September 9 to 11, New York), Dreamforce (September 15 to 17, San Francisco), AI Infra Summit (September 15 to 17, Santa Clara), dbt Summit, formerly Coalesce (September 15 to 18, Las Vegas), HubSpot’s UNBOUND, formerly INBOUND (September 16 to 18, Boston) and Okta’s Oktane (September 22 to 24, Las Vegas). SaaStr’s flagship was in May, and SaaStr has no in-person US event before the end of the year. Outside the US, we covered Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai.

Where we will be

We are not at these events this year. The team plans to be at some of them next year, and we will say which once that is decided. If you are going this fall and want a second pair of eyes on your site or demo before you fly, talk to the team.
